Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT Visionet Data Internasional, Serpong, Tangerang City. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population of 73 employees was used as the sample. Data analysis was conducted through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 8.364 + 0.795X₁. The correlation coefficient of 0.742 indicates a strong relationship, and the coefficient of determination of 55.0% means that work discipline contributes 55% to performance. The t-test value of 7.895 > t-table value of 2.008 proves that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a significant influence of work discipline on performance. Work motivation also has a significant effect on employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 11.965 + 0.704X₂. The correlation coefficient of 0.633 shows a strong relationship, with a contribution of 40.1%. The t-test value of 5.845 > t-table 2.008 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 support the hypothesis that motivation significantly affects performance. Simultaneously, work discipline and work motivation have a significant effect on performance with the regression equation Y = 1.575 + 0.605X₁ + 0.370X₂. The correlation coefficient of 0.793 and the coefficient of determination of 62.9% indicate a strong relationship and substantial contribution. The F-test value of 34.168 > F-table 2.790 proves that H0 is rejected, meaning both variables together significantly influence employee performance
