Abstract

Determining the priority of initial admission fee components for new students is an essential process in the financial administration of Islamic boarding schools. Manual prioritization is often subjective, time-consuming, and prone to inconsistencies, which may affect the effectiveness of decision-making in determining the most important fee components based on multiple evaluation criteria. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to assist management in making objective and systematic decisions. This study aims to design and implement a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the priority of initial admission fee components for new students at Al Asy'ariyah Islamic Boarding School. The AHP method was selected because it effectively solves multi-criteria decision-making problems through pairwise comparisons, priority weight calculations, and consistency ratio analysis. The proposed system was developed as a web-based application to facilitate the management of criteria, alternatives, AHP calculations, and recommendation results. The results indicate that the developed system is capable of generating objective priority rankings for admission fee components, accelerating the decision-making process, improving consistency in evaluations, and providing reliable recommendations that support policy-making regarding initial admission fees for new students at Al Asy'ariyah Islamic Boarding School.
