IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI PENGAJUAN PINJAMAN DAN MANAJEMEN CUTI KARYAWAN BERBASIS WEB PADA PT MULTI KARYA USAHA

Abstract

PT Multi Karya Usaha, a manufacturing subsidiary of PT Adis Dimension Footwear under Shoetown Group Indonesia, still manages its employee loan and leave request services through paper-based forms and manual recap in Microsoft Excel. This conventional workflow is prone to human error, document loss, and inconsistent leave-quota and loan-limit records, while multi-level approval routing between supervisors, HRD, and Finance takes a relatively long time because forms must be carried physically between offices. This study designs and implements a web-based Employee Service Information System that digitalizes the loan-request and leave-management processes at PT Multi Karya Usaha. The system was built with the Waterfall model, using PHP with the Laravel framework, a MySQL database, and Visual Studio Code as the text editor. System design was modeled with the Unified Modeling Language, including Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and an Entity Relationship Diagram normalized up to the third normal form. Black-box testing on both the employee and Admin/HRD modules, covering nine test scenarios in total, showed that all core features ran according to specification. The resulting system centralizes data, provides real-time status tracking for employees, and reduces the administrative workload previously carried by HRD.
