IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM ABSENSI PEGAWAI BERBASIS WEBSITE DENGAN FITUR GEOLOKASI PADA KANTOR BKKP

Abstract

One of the most important aspects of human resource management is employee attendance recording. However, many institutions still rely on manual or conventional attendance methods, which often lead to issues such as data manipulation, delayed recapitulation, and limited transparency. To address these challenges, this study aims to design and develop a web-based attendance system integrated with geolocation features and digital leave request functionality.The system is developed using the Agile methodology to ensure iterative adaptation to user needs and continuous improvement throughout the development cycle. In addition to capturing check-in and check-out times, the system validates employee presence using real-time geolocation data, ensuring that attendance records accurately reflect the actual physical location of employees.The evaluation results indicate that the implemented system significantly improves the accuracy and reliability of attendance data, streamlines leave management workflows, and enhances transparency and accountability in human resource operations at the BKKP Office. Furthermore, the system provides a more efficient monitoring mechanism, reduces administrative burdens, and supports data-driven decision-making for organizational management
