Abstract

The process of managing sales and purchase data at PT Trimurti Persada Artha Maheswara is still carried out manually, resulting in recording errors, difficulties in data retrieval, and delays in report generation. To address these issues, a web-based sales information system was designed using TypeScript and Bun Runtime to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of data management. The research methods employed include observation, interviews, and literature studies, while the system development method follows the Waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing,and maintenance stages. The developed system provides features for managing customer data, product data, sales transactions, purchase transactions, and automatic report generation. Testing was carried out through black-box testing of all features and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving five respondents from the partner company, obtaining an average score of 4.4 out of 5 across all success indicators, and reducing the average report-generation time from 27 minutes to 4.4 minutes. The implementation of this system enables faster, more accurate, and integrated data processing, thereby supporting the company’s operational activities more effectively.
