RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM ABSENSI SISWA BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN METODE WATERFALL DI SMP NEGERI 3 KRESEK

Abstract

SMP Negeri 3 Kresek still relies on a manual student attendance system using attendance books, which frequently causes recording errors, difficulties in data retrieval, and the risk of data loss. This study aims to design and develop a web-based student attendance system using the Waterfall method, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The system is built using the Laravel framework with a MySQL database. Results show that the system significantly speeds up attendance recording, reduces data errors, and automatically generates attendance reports, thereby improving the school's administrative effectiveness.
