SISTEM PAKAR DALAM MENDETEKSI KERUSAKAN ELEKTRONIK (TELEVISI/LAPTOP) DENGAN METODE CASE BASED REASONING PADA SINAR SENJA TEKNIK

Abstract

The rapid development of televisions and laptops has made these electronic devices essential in daily life. However, identifying hardware failures is often difficult for non-technical users. Sinar Senja Teknik, an electronic repair service provider, faces challenges in diagnosing device malfunctions manually, which may reduce service efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study aims to develop an expert system based on the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method to support faster and more accurate diagnosis of television and laptop failures. The CBR method utilizes previously stored cases as references for analyzing new symptoms and generating appropriate solution recommendations. The system compares the similarity between past cases and new cases to determine the most relevant diagnosis. The results show that the implementation of a CBR-based expert system can accelerate the fault identification process, improve the effectiveness of technical services, and assist technicians in determining appropriate repair solutions. Furthermore, the system provides more accurate and relevant diagnostic recommendations by leveraging prior experiences. Therefore, the CBR method is proven to be an effective alternative to manual diagnostic procedures and contributes positively to improving the quality of electronic repair services.
