PERANCANGAN WEBSITE INFORMASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) MENGGUNAKAN GOOGLE FORM PADA YAYASAN ASIMA DEWANTARA SAYLENDRA
Abstract
The rapid advancement of information technology has encouraged educational institutions to adopt digital transformation in administrative services, including the New Student Admission Process (PPDB). Yayasan Asima Dewantara Saylendra faces several challenges in managing student admissions, such as time-consuming administrative procedures, potential data recording errors, and limited access to information for prospective students and parents. This study aims to design and implement a web-based New Student Admission Information System to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of the admission process. The research employed observation, interviews, and literature review methods to identify system requirements. System development was carried out using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach with the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment stages. The developed system provides several main features, including admission information services, online registration forms, applicant data management, administrative verification, and online announcement of selection results. The implementation results indicate that the system is capable of managing registration data in a more structured manner, reducing administrative errors, accelerating service processes, and providing easier access to information for prospective students and parents. Therefore, the web-based PPDB system can serve as an effective solution for supporting the digitalization of educational services and improving the quality of school administration at Yayasan Asima Dewantara Saylendra.
