PENGARUH RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE) DAN CURRENT RATIO (CC) TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PT FAJAR SURYA WISESA TBK PERIODE 2013-2023

Abstract

This study aims (1) to analyze the effect of Return on Equity (ROE) on the stock price of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk; (2) to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR) on the stock price of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk; (3) to analyze the simultaneous effect of Return on Equity (ROE) and Current Ratio (CR) on the stock price of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. Secondary data were obtained from the annual financial reports of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression, which was tested through descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t-test, and f-test with the assistance of SPSS version 27 software. The results of the study indicate that (1) Partially, Return on Equity (ROE) has a significant positive effect on the stock price of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk. with a significance value of 0.035 < 0.05 and a t-value < t-table (2.528 > 2.306); (2) Partially, the Current Ratio (CR) does not affect the stock price of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk, with a significance value of 0.100 > 0.05 and a t-value < t-table, (-1.862 < 2.306); (3) Simultaneously, Return on Equity (ROE) and Current Ratio (CR) have a significant positive effect on the stock price of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk, with a significance value of 0.028 < 0.05 and a t-value > t-table (5.786 > 4.459).
