Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of training and career development on the performance of McDonald's Pondok Cabe Branch employees, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique, namely using a sample of 52 respondents from the entire population. The data analysis techniques used are instrument testing, classical assumption testing, linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, hypothesis testing.  This is proven by the results of the training hypothesis test, which obtained a tcount value of 5,459 > ttable 2,008 and was strengthened by the ρ value < Sig.0.05 or a significance value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Career development obtained a tcount value of 10,323 > ttable 2.008 and strengthened by the ρ value < Sig.0.05 or a significance value <0.05 (0.000 > 0.05). The results of training and development research simultaneously have a positive and insignificant effect on the performance of McDonald's Pondok Cabe Branch employees as shown by the multiple linear regression equation Y = 10.023 + 0.126X1 + 0.639X2.  This is proven by the results of simultaneous hypothesis testing obtained by the Fcount value (55,823 > Ftable 3.20) and reinforced by the significance value < 0.00 (0.000 < 0.05). The results of the coefficient of determination test for the training and career development variables had an influence of 69.4% on employee performance at McDonald's Pondok Cabe Branch. Thus H03 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted. This means that it is proven that there is a simultaneous insignificant influence between training (X1) career development (X2) on employee performance (Y)
