PENGARUH ETIKA KERJA DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT HERONA EXPRESS UNIT PAMULANG
Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effect of work ethics and work environment on employee performance at PT Herona Express Unit Pamulang. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling and the sample obtained in this study amounted to 60 respondents. Data analysis uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis and hypothesis test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Work Ethics have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with the regression equation Y = 8.154 + 0.307X1, the correlation value is 0.680 meaning that the two variables have a strong relationship. The determination coefficient value is 46.3%. The hypothesis test obtained t count 2.282> t table 2.002 and a significant value of 0.026 <0.05. Thus Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between work ethics and employee performance. (2) Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with the regression equation Y = 8.154 + 0.498X2, the correlation value is 0.751, meaning that the two variables have a strong relationship. The determination coefficient value is 60%. The hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value of 4.421 > t table 2.002 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant effect between work environtment and employee performance. (3) Work Ethics and Work Environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 8.154 + 0.307X1 + 0.498X2, the correlation coefficient value is 0.775, meaning that the independent variable and the dependent variable have a strong relationship. The determination coefficient value is 60% while the remaining 40% is influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained a calculated F value of 42.774 > F table 3.159 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously between work ethics and work environment on employee performance at PT Herona Express Unit Pamula
