PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT HUTAMA SOLUSI INDONESIA CABANG GADING SERPONG

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work environment and work discipline on employee performance at PT Hutama Solusi Indonesia, Gading Serpong Branch. The method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in this study consisted of 56 individuals, and using a saturated sampling technique, the entire population was selected as the sample, totaling 56 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS tests, including validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that the work environment has a significant influence on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 90.8%, and hypothesis testing yielded a t-count > t-table (15.058 > 2.005). Work discipline also has a significant influence on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 88.1% and a t-count > t-table (19.976 > 2.005). Simultaneously, the work environment and work discipline significantly affect employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 2.963 + 0.451 X1 + 0.868 X2 and an F-count > F-table (263.027 > 2.779). The coefficient of determination of 90.8% indicates that the variables of work environment and work discipline contribute greatly to employee performance, while the remaining 9.2% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. Furthermore, the analysis also revealed that the weakest statement in the employee performance variable was statement number 10: "I feel that the supervision provided in the workplace helps guide me in my work," which only received an average score of 2.96. Therefore, it is recommended that the company continues to maintain a supportive and proportional supervision system so that employees feel comfortable while remaining responsible in carrying out their duties.
