Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio on Return on Assets at PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk for the period 2014 to 2024. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive quantitative research approach. The sample used in this study consists of financial statements obtained from PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk from 2014 to 2024. The tools used for analysis include the Classical Assumption Tests, which consist of the Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, and Autocorrelation Test. Further analysis includes Multiple Linear Regression Test, Correlation Coefficient Test, Coefficient of Determination Test, and Hypothesis Testing consisting of the Partial Test (t-test) and Simultaneous Test (F-test). Based on the hypothesis testing results (t-test and F-test) using SPSS 26, the Current Ratio (X1) has a t-count value less than the t-table, which is |-0.728| < |2.30600|, with a significance value of 0.487 > 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Current Ratio has no effect negative and is not significant on Return on Assets. On the other hand, the Debt to Equity Ratio has a t-count greater than the t-table, which is |-4.441| > |-2.30600|, with a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. This indicates that the Debt to Equity Ratio has a negative and significant effect on Return on Assets. Simultaneously, the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio have a significant effect on Return on Assets, as the F-count is greater than the F-table, which is 10.928 > 4.46, with a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05.
