PENGARUH RETURN ON ASSET (ROA) DAN CAPITAl ADEQUACY RATIO (CAR) TERHADAP DIVIDEND PAYOUT RATIO (DPR) PADA PT BANK MEGA TBK PERIODE 2015-2024
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Assets (ROA) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) at PT Bank Mega Tbk 2015-2024 period both partially and simultaneously. The research method and type of data used are descriptive quantitative and secondary data, while the sample in this study is the financial statements in the form of financial position reports and profit and loss of PT Bank Mega Tbk for the period 2015-2024. The data analysis method used is the classical assumption test and linear regression. Furthermore, hypothesis testing uses the t test, F test and Coefficient of Determination. The results of this study indicate that Return On Assets (ROA) partially has no significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) of PT Bank Mega Tbk for the period 2015-2024, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) partially has no significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) of PT Bank Mega Tbk for the period 2015- 2024. Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) simultaneously had no significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) of PT Bank Mega Tbk for the 2015-2024 period. The coefficient of determination shows R Square of 0.191 or 19.1%. This means that 19.1% of the variation in the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) can be explained by the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Return On Assets (ROA). Other variables not examined affect the remaining variables by 80.9%.
