Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work environment and work motivation on employee performance at PT Ace Hardware Tangerang Margonda, Depok City. The research method used was quantitative. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and obtained a sample of 70 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, simple linear regression test, and multiple linear regression test, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient test, partial hypothesis test (t test), and simultaneous hypothesis test (f test). The results of this study are that work environment and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 32,648 + 0.688X1 + 0.484X2, work environment has a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value of 16.1% and the hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value > t table value or (3.793 > 1.995). Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 30.6%, and the hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value > t table value or (6.048 > 1.670). The hypothesis test obtained a calculated F value  > F table or (15.030 > 3.130).
