PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT KORIN TECHNOMIC CUKANGGALIH TANGERANG
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and work motivation on the performance of employees of PT Korin Technomic Cukanggalih Tangerang partially and simultaneously. The method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Respondents used in this study had a population of 124 employees and a sample of 55 employees. The data analysis methods used in this study are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test (the normality test, multicollinearity test, & the heteroscedasticity test), simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS software version 26. The results of this study are validity and reliability tests of each statement item showing the value of r count > r table (0.265) so that all variables are declared valid, and Cronbach's Alpha > 0.6. The normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test test obtained results 0,200 > 0.05 which means normal distribution. Multicollinearity test VIF value (1,116) < 10 and Tolerance value (0,896) > 0,10, so there is no multicollinearity. The heteroscedasticity test does not experience interference, so the regression is feasible to use. Leadership (X1) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a correlation value of 0.328 (low), a coefficient of determination of 0.108 and in the hypothesis test obtained a t value of 2,531 > t table 2.006 with a significant value of 0.014 < 0,05 Work Motivation (X2) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a correlation value of 0852 (very strong), a coefficient of determination of 0.726 and in the hypothesis test obtained a t value of 11,840 > t table 2,006 with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,5 Leadership (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) with the regression equation Y = 5,992 + 0,079X1 + 0,836X2 The correlation coefficient value is 0.854, which means that the independent variable and the dependent variable have a very strong relationship. The coefficient of determination is 0.729, which means that 72.9% of variations in employee performance are explained by leadership and work motivation variables,while the rest is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing obtained the calculated F value of 69,891 > F table or 3,172. This is also reinforced by a significance value of 0,000 < 0,5 Thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a simultaneous significant influence between leadership and work motivation on employee performance at PT Korin Technomic Cukanggalih Tangerang.
