Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work discipline on employee performance at the Ninja Xpress Station, Pagedangan District Branch, South Tangerang, both partially and simultaneously. The method used was quantitative. The population in this study amounted to 65 people. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and obtained a sample of 65 respondents. Data analysis used validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients and hypothesis tests. The results of this study are job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance with the results of a simple regression value of Y = 16.204 + 0.621X1. The coefficient of determination value is 41.3% and the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (6.662> 1.998). Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with the results of a simple regression value of Y = 6.735 + 0.846X2. The coefficient of determination value is 71.2% and the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (12.486> 1.998). From the results of multiple linear analysis Y = 6.023 + 0.407X1 + 0.781X2. The results obtained that the variables of job satisfaction (X1) and work discipline (X2) have an effect on employee performance (Y). The coefficient of determination is 71.6%. Job satisfaction (X1) and work discipline (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the calculated f result > the table f value, namely (78.300 > 3.159).
