PENGARUH DISIPLIN KERJA DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN MIDDLE CHILD CAFÉ JAKARTA SELATAN
Abstract
This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of work discipline and the work environment on employee performance at Middle Child Cafe, South Jakarta. The method used in this study was quantitative with a descriptive associative approach and saturated sampling technique, with a population and sample of 40 respondents. The analytical methods used included linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that work discipline (X1) and work environment (X2) have a regression equation of Y = 18.405 + 0.438 (x1) + 0.122 (x2), indicating that work discipline and work environment have a positive effect on employee performance. The correlation coefficient value of work discipline and work environment on employee performance is 0.749, indicating a very strong correlation between the variables. The results of the coefficient of determination analysis, tested simultaneously, have an effect of 0.561, or 56.1%, while the remaining 43.9% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing yielded a calculated X1 value of t > t table (6.782 > t table 1.687) and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and insignificant partial effect between work discipline and employee performance at Middle Child Cafe, South Jakarta. Hypothesis testing yielded a calculated X2 value of t > t table (4.504 > t table 1.687) and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and insignificant partial effect between work environment and employee performance at Middle Child Cafe, South Jakarta. Partial or simultaneous hypothesis testing yielded a calculated f value > f table (23.678 > 3.252) and a significance value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, Ho3 was rejected and Ha3 was accepted. This means that work discipline (X1) and work environment (X2) have a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance.
