IMPLEMENTASI METODE WATERFALL DALAM PEMBANGUNAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENDAFTARAN ONLINE PENDAKIAN GUNUNG GEDE PANGRANGO BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

Implementation of the development of a web-based online registration information system for climbing Mount Gede Pangrango using the Waterfall method. The aim of developing this system is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the climbing registration process, overcome various obstacles faced in manual registration, and provide easy access for prospective climbers. The Waterfall method is applied because it allows structured and systematic system development through clear stages, starting from requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, to maintenance. The implementation results show that this system has succeeded in reducing long queues, minimizing administrative errors, and increasing the accuracy of registrant data. This system also provides easier access for prospective climbers from various locations. Based on the evaluation, this information system is effective in meeting its stated objectives, but requires regular updates and evaluation to ensure the system remains relevant and safe for users.
