PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU BERBASIS WEBSITE DI SMK SIRAJUL FALAH PARUNG

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven educational institutions to adopt more modern and efficient systems, including the New Student Admission (PPDB) process. SMK Sirajul Falah Parung still implements PPDB conventional, which causes various issues such as data entry errors, verification delays, and lack of transparency. This internship report discusses the design of a web-based PPDB system as a solution to these problems. The system was developed using HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL, featuring online registration, document uploads, real-time application status tracking, and data management by school administrators. The research methods used include direct observation, interviews, and literature review. The outcome of this project is expected to enhance administrative efficiency, accelerate the selection process, and provide transparent and professional services to prospective students.
