Abstract
Employee performance assessment is one of the important activities that aims to identify the quality of performance of each individual in the company. In this study, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is used to systematically evaluate employee performance. This study aims to determine the best performing employees, ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the methods used, and measure the level of accuracy of the method as a reference in the performance assessment process. The methodology applied in this study includes problem analysis, data collection through literature studies, interviews, and observations, followed by method analysis and calculations based on case studies. The final results show that each process produces a different final score, reflecting the variability in data processing to produce accurate information. The SAW method was chosen because of its ease of understanding and application. The main advantage of this method lies in the accuracy of the data, where the weight of the criteria is determined through a structured calculation process. Testing and implementation show that the SAW method has high efficiency, with an average processing time of 5.2436 seconds. Thus, the SAW method can help companies assess employee performance accurately, quickly, and efficiently, providing a practical solution in the performance appraisal system.
