The development of digital technology brings many benefits; however, it also presents serious challenges, one of which is the increasing access and involvement of adolescents in online gambling practices. Online gambling often disguises itself in the form of games or applications that appear harmless, making students vulnerable to being trapped without realizing it. Therefore, digital education and literacy are essential to be introduced from an early stage, particularly in secondary education environments. The Community Service Program (PKM) carried out by lecturers and students of Universitas Pamulang aims to raise awareness and enhance the understanding of students at SMK Bintang Nusantara regarding the dangers of online gambling and the technology behind it. The socialization activities were conducted through interactive seminars, discussions, educational video screenings, and real case studies. In addition to delivering information about the psychological, social, and academic consequences, the program also equipped students with technical knowledge about technological methods such as VPNs, masking applications, and illegal websites. The results of the program showed an increase in students’ understanding of the risks of irresponsible internet use, as well as greater active participation during question-and-answer sessions. Support from the school, teachers, and parents also became an important indicator of the program’s success. It is expected that similar activities can be carried out sustainably and integrated as part of the school’s digital literacy program.

THE PERFECTION OF CHATGPT IN MAKING FAST-ACCURATE REPORTS OF STUDENTS AT SMK PARUNG

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can interact with users through a conversational format. Anyone can use ChatGPT to read and understand the contents of files or enter questions into the ChatGPT interface, allowing the AI to analyze and answer questions on various topics. The ChatGPT training program for Parung Vocational High School (SMK) was conducted to improve students' digital literacy and writing skills. Amid rapid technological advances, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the learning process has become an urgent need. Through this activity, participants were introduced to ChatGPT as a digital aid that can be used to compile report outlines, improve spelling and sentence structure, and enrich written/report content quickly, precisely, and accurately. The workshop was designed based on hands-on practice, where students were trained to actively use ChatGPT features in completing their academic assignments and vocational projects. Evaluation of the activity showed that students improved their understanding of how to write reports that were coherent, logical, and adhered to writing standards. Furthermore, students became more confident and confident in expressing their ideas in writing. With this approach, the workshop not only strengthened academic skills but also taught the responsible and beneficial use of AI technology in vocational education.

PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN DIGITAL SISWA SMP ISLAM BAHRUL ULUM MELALUI PELATIHAN WEBSITE BUILDER

The digital era presents a paradox where the younger generation, despite being adept technology users, often lacks productive digital skills. This gap limits their potential to transition from passive content consumers to active creators. This community service program was designed to address this challenge by enhancing the digital literacy and technical skills of students at SMP Islam Bahrul Ulum through website creation training. The program utilized a workshop method with a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach, engaging 30 seventh-grade students. To ensure accessibility, the training employed a no-code website builder platform, removing the technical barriers associated with programming. The program's effectiveness was measured using pre-test and post-test evaluations, which demonstrated a significant increase in conceptual understanding, with the average score rising from 42 to 86. Furthermore, practical skill acquisition was evidenced by 93% of participants successfully creating and publishing a functional website. The findings confirm that this structured intervention effectively transformed students into confident digital creators, equipping them with foundational skills for the digital economy. This initiative serves as a replicable model for bridging the digital skills gap in similar educational contexts.
