PEMANFAATAN SISTEM PEMANTAUAN TINGGI MUKA AIR SUNGAI BERBASIS SENSOR RADAR DAN INTERNET OF THINGS
Abstract
Bekasi City and Regency are areas with high flood vulnerability. Monitoring of the Water Surface Level (TMA) is still carried out manually by volunteers using water level gauges, which has limitations such as dependence on human resources, the potential for human error, and the unavailability of real-time data. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to design and implement an automatic and real-time river water level monitoring system based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system developed uses a Vegapuls C21 radar sensor, Campbell Scientific CR6 data logger, and a 4G communication module to send data to a cloud server. Data is stored in the InfluxDB time-series database and visualized in real-time via the Grafana dashboard. The results of the implementation and testing show that the system can measure water level with an accuracy of ±2 cm and send data stably in various weather conditions. This system has proven to increase the efficiency and speed of flood monitoring compared to manual methods, so it can be a solution to support faster and data-based decision-making by the Bekasi City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). This activity also contributes to the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through the application of information technology for community problem-solving
